Mental Toughness - a Life Skill for everyone!

It is interesting to note that two of our gym parents told me recently that they really understand what Kathy and I are working towards in our gym to coach their daughters. They both told me that they understood that gymnastics is just the technical pieces, but the "life skills" that we teach and coach their daughters are so much more valuable. Most importantly, they both understood that learning to lead with Character First is vitally important to helping their daughters grow up into productive and healthy young adults. This article is written by Anne Josephson, who owns her own gymnastics club in California, and her husband is the person who operates and focuses on Character Counts (www.charactercounts.org). I am an ambassador for Character Counts.   Thanks Gym Parents.  Smile On!
